Each Summer towards the end of July, we enjoy a week of evening excitement
and fellowship in Vacation Bible School! Whether we scale Lava Islands,
board trains of adventure or surf through scripture… our goal remains the
same: to bring Children into a deeper more meaningful relationship with
our Lord! We kick off each night of VBS with a time of fellowship and
food. When tummies are all full we head into the Sanctuary to kick off
each evening and figure out what the theme for the night will be.

The children, guided by crew leaders, head off in different directions to
explore that days theme. The children may participate in mini dramas to
learn the bible story of the day, put their artistic talents to use in
making crafts, and exert all their energy in a theme based game. Each
activity is designed to nail home that days theme! When you think they
can’t handle any more, we all head back to the Sanctuary for closing songs a
nd recap! We typically end each week with an outdoor celebration!
